Reel Saver is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

When you paste a link and request a download, that link is sent to our server to be resolved. Standard technical logs (timestamp, approximate region, and browser type) are kept briefly for reliability and abuse prevention, then rotated out.

What we never ask for

We never ask for your Instagram username, password, or any other account credential. Creating an account is not required to use any tool on this site.

What we don't store

Downloaded reels are resolved on demand and are not archived on our servers after your request completes.

Cookies

Your theme preference (dark or light mode) is stored locally in your browser so it's remembered on your next visit. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Third parties

We do not sell personal data to third parties. Any infrastructure providers used to run the site are bound to use data only to provide the service.
